Project RabstejnLab

Rabstejnlab presents astrophysical project dedicated to observation of cosmic radiation. Main goal of this project is to develope and implement new detection methods of cosmic radiation in order to search the path of dark matter, represented by cosmic neutrinos. Another aim is to build innovative production for the collection of solar radiation in the proces of hydrogen splitting. This proces is able to reach high possible efficiency for conversion of solar radiation. Currently is this technical difficult project in the phase of construction. Technology used in this proces was developed by Dr. B. Plaček, the leader of whole project.

OUR STRATEGY:

1. RESEARCH

  • RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES AND METHODS OF DETECTION IN THE SOLAR AND NEUTRINO PHYSICS AND ASTROPHYSICS.
By aplication of these methods and newly developed technologies we want to create conditions for gathering of new knowledge and deepening of our knowledge of neutrino physics, solar physics and physics of cosmic rays.
  • DEVELOPMENT OF NEW NONEXPENSIVE WAYS OF THE SOLAR PARABOLIC CONCENTRATOR PRODUCTION. These concentrators we want to introduce to the practice first as prototypes and later as serial products.

2. INTERMEDIATION OF NEW KNOWLEDGE TO PUBLIC

  • PUBLICATION ACTIVITIES
The Institution is running own small publishing. Important for us is delivery of new knowledge in the form understandable for broad public.
  • MEETING OF EXPERTS
In order to assist by the solution of complex interdisciplinary problems, our institution is organising meetings of experts, lectures and seminaries.
  • ASTRONOMICAL OBSERVATIONS
Our institution is will allow astronomical observations on our own astronomical telescopes (at present under construction).

OUR VALUES

  • Openess, creativity and flexibility.
  • Responsibility to next generations.
  • Support of education and qualification of new generations, which will be facing new problems of existence.
  • Support to sustainable development and understanding to the wild nature
  • Argumentation supported by scientific research.

RabstejnLab – astrophysical observatory

It is our pleasure to inform you, that starting from the March 3-rd, 2014 is the astrophysical observatory Rabstejn nad Strelou, 108, officially recognized and registered as the scientific institution under the name RabstejnLab. Following the changes of the Czech civic law it is the first institution of this type in Czech Republic. This was also source of legislative problems and delays in the process of registration caused by gaps in present legislation. Nevertheless our effort was at the end finally successful.

„Our goal is to become a respected scientific institution contributing to the better understanding of human perspective position in the society as seen from the latest discoveries of physics.“
